Not a bad article. Aside those suffering from actual GAD, shifting from mental worrying to physical worrying — by way of writing down concerns — can indeed help to slowly control anxiety. Obviously, this isn’t a magic fix-all, but the consistent proof that worries are unfounded, over a long term period, will slowly recondition the mind. It would have been nice to add to the article, mentioning that after this first step it becomes necessary to instill new habits, and new ways of thinking, such as saying to oneself: I’ll find a way to save money, rather than saying: I can’t afford to pay my bills. Positive outlooks can be taught to worriers.
