Copy and paste fluff from a dozen articles you can find by Googling “how to get blog views”. This was crap. The writer did not provide any actual tips for getting views to articles. This was almost word for word from an article on prowritingtips.com.
I mean, seriously, people. How hard is it to write: Write consistently. Use pictures. Find publications and add your Medium profile. Use social media. Add tags.
Of course you do all of this!
How about some actual advice, like; pay for an ad on FaceBook. For $30, you can “boost” a post on FaceBook, and it will be shared with people who take an interest in the topic. The real problem is that Medium won’t review stories due to “high volume”, so no one has a chance to get curated.
I write on Medium because I have something to say. Unless you’re already driving traffic to Medium, the staff won’t help you, so you need actual advice — advice that you can’t find through a simple Google search.
How about: Hire someone on Fiverr.com to share your post to their social media fans? Is it that difficult to write something helpful?
